How can you do reverse cell phone lookup in Canada?
I’m looking for a name to a cell number I have from Toronto, Canada. I tried the Reverse Phone Detective website, paid the 16$ and I got nothing! It just listed the cell phone provider, but it garanteed 100% that it would list the name and address…sooo either this is just a scam (bye bye to my 16$..) or maybe that number is not listed?
IS THERE ANY GOOD AND RELIABLE WEBSITES OR PROGRAMS I CAN USE?? I really need to find this person’s name…

There are so many ways you can look up or trace any phone number. Below are the top 2 methods.
Whitepages.com, yellowpages.com, phonenumbers.com, infospace.com, anywho.com and some of the other free directories may also work but will never work for cell phone or unlisted phone numbers.

I know that suicide hotlines can send help to you, but how do they trace the call ?
I called a suicide hotline and while I was on the phone with the person… I was never once placed on hold.. there was a knock at my door and it was the police and ambulance.. But the person I was talking to on the phone never ever told me they were sending help to me or anything. I never even told them my name, phone number, adress, nothing. So how do they send help to you ..
I used my home phone, but my number should be listed as private so how would they get it, and who would of sent help.. I mean I live in Montreal, Canada and when I called 1-800-SUICIDE, it transferred me to somewhere in the U.S… So do they call 911 and than call 911 in Montreal or what happens exactly ? Because I saw none of this coming
And why didn’t they tell me they were sending help.. Because atleast than, I could of gotten the hell out of here and not be taken to the hospital
The goal is to save your life, not to give you the opportunity to end it. Obviously, the suicide hotline had a phone filter, similar to that of 911 call centers, that track your location. The person you spoke with clearly felt that your life was in immediate danger and they did the only right thing there was to do, send help. I really hope that whatever is making you feel that sad changes soon.

I’m being harrassed via text. Once a week someone is texting saying that I am messing w/her man and if I don’t stop, she is going to f ukc me up at home or work. They know my name, so it’s not a wrong number. Of course I am taking this threat serious. I confronted the man I am seeing and he swears he’s not with anyone else and is concerned for me too. We think it’s my ex-husband (I wouldn’t put it past him) but I have no proof. The text actually has a number. I tried texting back but nothing. I tried calling and the phone just rings, no voicemail. I did a reverse lookup, I even paid $30.00 but there is no information on this number how is this possible?? they only told me that it’s a cell phone from Verizon Wireless and the town the call is coming from. I ‘m so frustrated I don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can find out who’s threatening me? thanks.
I hope you haven’t deleted any of these messages!!!! You need to take the phone to the police and let them deal with this. You have proof that someone is harassing you. So let the police do their job and find out who it is!!!!
Better to be safe then sorry. You sound scared and if you don’t find out who it is you will always be looking over your shoulder. Not a good way to live.
Cingular Reverse Cell Number Lookup
where can i look to find out who a cell phone number belongs to? i did reverse lookup on whitepages.com?
and it says its a Cingular cellphone but nothing else.
Whitepages doesn’t reveal the cell phone information for free because it doesn’t have any on their system. They “affiliate” with another service to provide cell phone info for a cost.
Thing is – you will have to pay for reverse cell phone information no matter what because of the sheer difficulty of having to collate it all. Not only that, but since the re is no central public directory of cell phone info, companies who provide the data have to go to great lengths to find it.

About the only way of finding out is to call it back – all that you’ll get from doing a reverse-lookup is the cell phone company and city that it is from.
